- The minimum Eligibility for appearing in the Aptitude Test for students passing the qualifying examination from Banasthali University will be 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

- The minimum Eligibility for appearing in the Aptitude test for SC/ST applicants for all these courses is 40% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.

- Applicants who fail to appear in the Aptitude Test will not be considered under any circumstances.

Aptitude Test Syllabi and Sample Questions

Based on the performance in the aptitude test and the academic record of the qualifying examination the selected candidates will be offered admission and shall be called on a specific date to complete admission procedure. The candidate must report for admission on given date, failing which the admission will be cancelled.

For the postgraduate programmes the Applicants MUST attach complete marksheet (s) upto the II year or final year examination (if available ) failing which their application will be summarily rejected.

For the purpose of preparation of merit for the various PG courses of the Apaji Institute qualifying examination marks shall be aggregate of marks of the first two years or, aggregate marks whichever is higher. The last date for submission of marksheet of qualifying examination is 30 November, 2013.

UG admission : The result of the WAT published on 02 May 2013 will be put up on the AIFD website The result will also be displayed on the notice board at AIFD Bangalore. Candidates declared to have passed WAT will also be individually informed by AIFD Bangalore to that effect. The selected students will be required to pay the Course registration fee of Rs.10,000/- & Rs 5000/- for hostel through a Crossed Demand Draft in favour of “Army Institute of Fashion & Design” payable at Bangalore on 14 May 2013 (within 10 days of publishing of the WAT on the web site). After the receipt of registration fee from the willing candidates, final list of UG admission will be announced in the Institute web site on 15th May 2013.

PG admission : The PG candidates have to appear for the CAT and interview on 27th June 2013 at AIFD, Bangalore. The candidates recommended for admission to the PG Course at AIFD, Bangalore on 04 July 2013 will be informed in writing and they will be required to pay Rs.10,000/- as Registration Fee for college & Rs 5000/- for Hostel through a Crossed Demand Draft in favour of “Army Institute of Fashion & Design” payable at Bangalore on 15 July 2013.

BE Courses Commencing July 2013

For the BE courses commencing July 2013, 300 seats are available at AIT (120 seats in Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering, 60 seats each in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering and Information Technology), for wards of Army personnel through JEE (Main) All India Rank.

Entrance Examination

AIT admission is based on the Rank obtained in the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2013. All applicants are therefore required to appear in JEE Main 2013 and also apply to AIT for Admission.

Cost of AIT Application

Cost of Prospectus and Application form is as follows:-

(a) Online. Online application form is available on our website Application fee of Rs 750/- can be paid through credit/debit card or netbanking. In addition candidate will need to pay a processing charge of Rs 37/-.

(b) By hand. A limited quantity of prospectus (hard copies) with application form will be available at AIT, Pune, HQ Commands and Headquarters AWES on payment of Rs 750/- through bank DD of a nationalised bank drawn in favour of Director, AIT and payable at Pune. No payment through cheque (including at-par cheques) will be accepted.

(c) By Post. Prospectus with application form can also be obtained by post from AIT on payment of Rs 820/- through bank DD drawn in favour of Director, AIT payable at Pune.

Note:- (i) Candidates are advised to use online facility for applying as far as possible.

(i) Cost of prospectus will not be refunded, if returned.

Last date for submission of completed Application Form is 30 Apr 2013. After that AIT forms will be accepted alongwith a late fee of Rs 500/- till 5 May 2013.

Common Written Admission Test 2013 - 2014

The Combined Written Admission Test (CWAT) 2013 for admission to the B Ed course offered by the both colleges AIE and ACE will be held on Sunday, 28 April 2013 from 0930 hrs to 1230 hrs at 15 notified examination centers in India. The candidates will be required to report at their respective examination centers at 0900 hrs i.e. at least half an hour before the commencement of the CWAT.

Candidates will be asked to fill their choice for the examination center they wish to appear for the CWAT. In such a case, attempt will be made to allot the examination center closer to the candidate’s first / second choice. However, the test center once allotted will be final and no request for its change will be entertained.

CWAT will consist of 150 objective type test items to be responded to by the candidates in the allocated duration of 3 hrs. The test will have the following components:-

(a) Intelligence and Reasoning Test.
(b) General Awareness Test.
(c) English Language Competency & Comprehension Test.

Admission Notice 2013 - 2014

The NATIONAL LAW UNIVERSITY, DELHI established in 2008 by Act No. 1 of 2008 is premier Law University established in the capital city of India. The University invites applications for admission to B.A.,LL.B.(Hons.), LL.M. and Ph.D. Programmes for the academic year 2013-14 commencing from August, 2013. Eligibility, total seats & other details for these programmes are as under:

FIVE-YEAR B.A., LL.B. (Hons.)

Eligibility: Senior Secondary School Examination (10+2 System) or Equivalent Examination with 50% of marks. The candidates appearing in the 12th standard examination in March/April, 2013 can also apply.

Age: Below 21 years as on 1 July, 2013 (23 years in case of SC/ST candidates).

Total Seats: 80 [70 seats on merit through All India Law Entrance Test (AILET) and 10 seats for direct admission to Foreign Nationals on merit]. Foreign Nationals to
be eligible should have 65% marks in the qualifying examination.

Reservation: 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST and 3% for Persons with Disabilities.

Note:One additional seat for Kashmiri Migrants. The candidates have to appear in the AILET and fulfill the eligibility criteria as applicable.


Eligibility: LL.B. or an Equivalent Degree with 55% marks (50% in case of SC/ST/ Persons with Disability). The candidates appearing in final LL.B. examination in April/May, 2013 can also apply.

Total Seats: 20 + 5 seats for Foreign Nationals. Foreign Nationals are exempted from AILET.

Reservation: 15% for SC Candidates, 7.5% for ST Candidates, 3% for Persons with Disabilities.
