Summer Research Fellowship Programme For M.Tech / ME Students
IIT Delhi has instituted summer research fellowship for providing opportunity to exceptionally good M.Tech./M.E. students of different engineering institutes in India, other than IIT Delhi ( and if possible abroad) to execute an innovative research and development project under the guidance of an IIT Delhi faculty. The selected fellow will register at IIT Delhi as a visiting student; he/she will not be required to pay Institute registration fees. The salient features of the fellowship programme are as follow:
About the fellowship
Duration The Fellowship work can be done during a period of 8 weeks during the summer vacation.
Support The fellowship will cover the following;
(a) cost of travel by train within the country, to and from IIT Delhi;
(b) stay at IIT Delhi during the visit(s), including boarding and lodging in the Institute hostels; and
(c) a fellowship of Rs. 500/- per week. The fellow will have to pay the insurance charges.
Minimum Eligibility: Any M.Tech./M.E. student, who has completed at least 1 year of study towards an engineering degree and has secured atleast 70% marks or CGPA of 7.5 ( on a 10 point scale) at the end of Ist Semester, in her/his respective programme will be eligible to apply for this fellowship.
Deadline Applications will be received until 17:00 hours on 22nd April, 2013
