Notice regarding IX Convocation, 2012
In continuation to this Office letter bearing No.GGSIPU/Registrar/Convocation/2012/432- D dated November 09, 2012 whereby it was intimated that the Ninth convocation of the University is scheduled for Monday, December 03, 2012 at 3.00 PM it may be noted that it has been re-scheduled and now it shall be held on Monday December 03 2012 at 10.30 AM. University's Main Campus : Sector 16-C Dwarka New Delhi-110078.
This function will be presided over by Hon'ble Lt. Governor of Delhi, Sh. Tejendra Khanna Ji as Chancellor of this University. Smt. Sheila Dikshit Ji, Hon'ble Chief Minister of Govt. of NCT of Delhi shall award the Gold Medals on the occasion.
During this Convocation, the Degree/Certificates will be awarded to those students who have successfully qualified for the "Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)" and who have been placed under the category of "Exemplary Performance" for the year 2011-12. Besides this, all those who have topped in the eligible programmes will be awarded Gold Medals.
