Admission Notice of 3-year LL.B. Course of Studies for the Academic Session 2012 - 2014

Applications in prescribed form, obtainable from 08.11.2011 to 07.12.2011 between 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on all working days, at University Sales Counter, Rajbati, Burdwan (and not by post) on payment of Rs. 100/- in cash and on production of original/attested Xerox copy of mark-sheet of the relevant last degree examination and age proof certificate are invited for admission to the 3-year LL.B. course of studies to be imparted at The University of Burdwan, The Law Section of Hooghly Mohsin College and self financing private Law Colleges affiliated to the University of Burdwan for the academic session 2012-2014. The selection for admission to the course shall be strictly in order of merit on the basis of performance of the eligible candidates at the written admission test to be conducted at Burdwan University, Hooghly Mohsin College and Kolkata Centre.

Eligibility: A candidate is eligible to apply for admission into the course if he/she secures not below 45% of the total marks in case of General category and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST category at the Bachelor’s Degree examination in 10+ 2 + 3 pattern.

Application forms and Information Brochure may also be down loaded from the University Website: www.buruniv.ac.in Candidates obtaining the form from the website must enclose a demand draft of Rs. 100/- issued in favour of “Finance Officer, The University of Burdwan” payable at Burdwan at the time of submitting the same.

Candidates willing to submit the form on the day of issue must also bring with him/her Rs.150/- in cash to be deposited at the University Cash Counter as admission test fee along with photocopies of all original credentials & two copies of self attested passport size self photograph.
