Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST), the first Space University of Asia, offers courses from undergraduate to doctoral level in Space Science and Technology. Situated in the picturesque locale of Valiamala, the Institute is poised to become a world class centre of learning.
IIST offers B.Tech programme in Aerospace Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences. Admissions to this programme are based on the admission test, ISAT, conducted by IIST. Assistance is provided to all B.Tech students to cover the cost of education, boarding, lodging and healthcare. On successful completion of the course with prescribed academic standards, the students will be absorbed in ISRO as Scientists/Engineers.
For the B. Tech programme for the next academic year (2012-13), IIST announces ISAT-2012 (IIST Admission Test - 2012)
on Saturday 21st April, 2012 09.00 to 12.00 hrs
Online registration begins on 1st November 2011
ISAT-2012 will have the following test centers: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Calicut, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Dispur, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Port Blair, Ranchi, Thiruvananthapuram, Varanasi, Vishakapatnam.
