Admission Notice
Applications are invited from eligible candidates who have already passed M.A. /M.Phil./Net/Set in Bengali with required percentage of marks in post graduate examination as per U.G.C. norms (i.e. 55% for general and 50% for s.c./s.t. candidates) for admission to Ph.D. programme in the Dept. of Bengali language and literature under University of Calcutta.
The application form will be available from the website and filled up form to be submitted with all testimonials (attested by competent authority) through university challan by payment of Rs.100.
Total number of seats for the year 2011 is 25 (twenty five) only. The last date of submission of application form is 30.11.2011. A written admission test will be held on 14.12.2011 at 1.30 P.M. after sorting the received applications. The list will be published for eligible candidates for written examination on 09.12.2011 afternoon.
