Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM)
Session: January, 2012
Admission to Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management is made once in a year. The session commences from 1st January each year.
The Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health Management (PGDPHM) is a 45 credit program; 33 credits have been distributed over 16 modules and 12 credits have been allotted for the project work. For this, 24 courses (including exams) will be spread over 28 weeks (approx 7 months). Each week will have 20 lecture sessions (70 minutes per session), 8 lab/tutorials (70 minutes per session), making it a total of approximately 33 contact hours per week.
Candidates should be sponsored by the government for the entire course duration. Each state government can sponsor candidates but PGIMER will select candidates based on professional eligibility, curriculum vitae, work experience, aptitude test, viva voce etc. and only those found fit to join the course will be selected by the Institute.
