The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan will conduct Combined Pre-Shiksha Shastri (B.-Ed. entrance) Test (CPSST) on 08-05-2011 (Sunday) from 10 A.M. to 12.40 P.M. at specified centre in different parts of the country. This combined test is meant for admission into the following three deemed Universities 1. Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, New Delhi, 2. Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, Tirupati (A.P.) & 3. Sh. Lal Bahadur Shastri, Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha, New Delhi. The following categories of students are eligible for admission to CPSST examination.

1. Those who have passed Shastri/B.A. (Skt.) under 10+2+3 pattern or
2. Those who have passed two year degree course of Shastri/B.A.(Skt.) followed by pass either in bridge Course “Setu” examination or in 1st year of Acharya/M.A. (Skt.) examination or
3. Those who have passed Acharya/M.A.(Skt.).

The candidates should have obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (for SC/ST/PH 45%) in the respective qualifying examinations. Reservation will be given as per norms of Govt. of India. The students appearing in final year of Shastri or B.A. examination (with Sanskrit) of recognized universities / institutions can also apply but they will have to produce the proof of eligibility at the time of admission. Minimum age is 20 years on or before 01-10.2011. The details regarding eligibility, reservation of seats of all types, are given in the booklet which will be available for sale from 01-02-2011 to 12.03.2011 at the following Campuses of Sansthan, the campuses of the two universities and upto 19-03-2011 in Sansthan Head Office, New Delhi, (by hand) on payment of Rs.500/-. The booklet and the Application form can also be obtained through Speed Post / Registered post from Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, by sending a crossed demand draft of Rs.550/- In favour of Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan payable at SBI, Delhi cantt, New Delhi. The application form duly filled-in along with enclosures must be submitted only to the Dy. Registrar (Examinations), Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan, 56-57, Institutional Area, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110058. The last date of receipt of applications will be 19-03-2011 up to 5:30 P.M.. The applications received after due date and time will be summarily rejected.
