UGC-NET will be held on June 27, 2010

UGC-NET for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for lectureship will be held on June 27, 2010. Now this time applying procedure is changed. The following procedure opted for applying UGC-NET:

1. First register online at www.ugc.ac.in before 26th April 2010 and the last date for the submission of printout of the Online Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admission Card on April 30, 2010.

2. Before applying Online, the candidates must possess the following:

a. Scanned passport (pp) size photograph in JPEG format, b. Copy of Bank Challan (fee receipt).

3. Candidate after successfully filling the online application is required to take print out of the Online Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admission Card on separate A-4 size papers and paste his/her recent passport sized photograph, put his/her signature at the required space, attach attested copy of SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer)/PH/VH certificate and send the same with UGC marked copy of Bank Challan to the Coordinator of the UGC Test Centre from where the candidate has opted to appear for the Test. In case, the printout of Online Application Form along with the required documents does not reach the Test Cente on or before 30.04.2010, the candidature of the applicant shall be rejected even if he/she has submitted to UGC.

4. The printout of the Online Application Form, Attendance Slip and Admission Card should be submitted to Prof. Nahar Singh, Coordinator, UGC-NET, Dept. of Punjabi, Panjab University, Chandigarh-160 014. The office will remain open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. on all working days.

5. The candidates must go through the guidelines as laid down by UGC for eligibility and filling the application forms.
