Admission Notice 2009-11 for MBA
Eligibility: Graduate (honours or pass) / Post Graduate in Commerce/ Science/ Arts/ Management from a recognised University with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or Graduate/ Post Graduate in Engineering/ Technology/ Computer Application/ Medical Science/ Pharmacy/ Agriculture with at least 60% marks in aggregate and having a minimum composite score of 500 in the MAT (Management Aptitude Test) conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi are eligible to apply for admission in MBA course in the School of Management. Candidates appearing in their final degree examinations are also eligible to apply provided they have secured minimum of a composite score of 500 in the MAT. Candidates selected for admission in MBA Programme will be required to submit their degree marksheets on or before the last date of admission.
Selection Procedure: Selection will be made on the basis of MAT score, past academic records, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. Candidates short-listed on the basis of MAT scores will be called for Group Discussion and Personal Interview at School of Management, Tripura University.
How to Apply: Applicants seeking admission in the MBA Programme of Tripura University may obtain Prospectus and Application Forms for MBA Programme in person between 11.am and 3.00 pm from the office of School of Management, Tripura University, Suryamaninagar-799130 on all working days (Monday to Friday) on payment of Rs.250/- only. Prospectus and Application Form can also be obtained through post by sending a Demand Draft for Rs.250/- in favour of ‘School of Management, Tripura University’, payable at SBI, Tripura University Campus Branch (code 10495) along with a self addressed stamped (Rs.35/-) envelope to School of Management, Tripura University, Suryamaninagar-799130, West Tripura. Application form can also be downloaded from the University website (www.tripurauniversity.in). In that case, a draft for Rs.250/- will have to be sent along with the application form. All applications should be addressed to The Coordinator, School of Management, Tripura University, Suryamaninagar, West Tripura, Pin-799130.
