Admission Notice 2009 to BA/B.Com Distance Education

The School of Distance Education offers two different streams of admission to the B.A/B.Com Degree Courses : Regular and Open Streams.

Eligibility: All those who have attained the age of 18 years by the first day of July during the year of admission are eligible to apply for the entrance examination.

How to Apply: The students desirous of joining for the Degree Course have to submit application online. For access to online application visit the home page of website www.universityofcalicut.info and click the link Open Stream Entrance Examination 2009. Before filling the application form the recent passport size photograph be scanned and kept in JPEG Format. Remit the fee by chalan/DDtowards the application fee. Photo in the printout of the application should be attested by Gazetted Officer. The printout, along with attested copies of documents proving age, caste (if SC/ST) and chalan/DD should be submitted to the Director, School of Distance Education in any of the manner given below and study materials and question bank obtained. Candidates should keep the online Reg.No. for the purpose of downloading the Hall Ticket.

b) Co-ordinators of study centres of School of Distance Education given below on Saturdays and Sundays.

2. St. Joseph’s College, Devagiri, Calicut.
3. Govt. Arts&Science College, Meenchanda, Kozhikode.
4. S.N. College, Kannur
5. Govt. College, Malappuram
6. M.E.S.Keveeyem College, Valanchery
7. Sree Kerala Varma College, Thrissur
8. M.E.S. Kalladi College, Mannarkkad
9. Govt. College, Chittur.
10. St. Thomas College, Thrissur

2) By Post
. Prinout alongwith other documents be sent to the Director, School of Distance Education, Calicut University P.O - 673635, Malappuram, Kerala, India. Those who submit by post should also enclose a self addressed stamped envelope (Rs. 50/-) of size 30cm x 25 cm.

Hard Copy of application with proof of age and Chalan receipt should reach The Director, School of Distance Education, University of Calicut as per the schedule given below.

Without fine : 1st July 2009
With fine of Rs. 100/- : 15th July 2009

Candidates abroad and outside Kerala should apply through the approved Counselling Centres furnished. Approved Counselling Centres should forward the printout of the application in one bundle before 20th July 2009 with documents proving age,DDetc.

Application received after the prescribed date will be rejected.

Date of Entrance Examination : 8th&9th August 2009 (Saturday and Sunday)
