Duration of the Course
The duration of the course shall be of two years. The first year will be of two semesters to be conducted and examined at Punjabi University, Patiala. The students will attend the second year of the course at Wilkes University, Wilkes‐Baree, Pennsylvania, USA

Eligibility
1. The MBA part‐I shall be open to any person who has passed a degree/post‐graduate degree examination in any faculty with at least 50% marks in the aggregate form this University or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto. For admission to MBA 1 + 1 programme, 85 per cent weightage will be for academic performance in graduation/post graduation. Weightage for Group Discussion & Interview to be conducted by PSMS, Punjabi University, Patiala will be 15 per cent.
2. The candidate who has passed MBA Part‐I (Ist and 2nd semesters), will undergo course work and scheme of studies at Wilkes University for the second year for which ordinances of Wilkes University will be applicable. Head of the Department reserves the right to recommend the eligible student for applying visa & candidature for Wilkes University for 2nd year of MBA 1+1 programme
3. If a student for acceptable reasons is unable to go to Wilkes University for the completion of the course, he/she shall be shifted to MBA regular programme of PSMS after the Ist semester examination. Consequently, the option of continuing the programme at PSMS will have to be exercised before the start of final examination of first semester. In such cases ordinances of the regular MBA programme of PSMS will be applicable.
The Application Form and ordinances can be downloaded from the university website www.punjabiuniversity.ac.in or department website www.smspup.ac.in. The forms will also be available in the office of SMS, Punjabi University, Patiala. The candidate are required to deposit a draft for Rs. 2000/- along with application form.
