Admission to First Year of Five Years Integrated M Sc Programmes: 2008-09
SVNIT is one of the 20 NITs Declared as Institute of National Importance by the act of parliament (NIT Act 2007). The Institute established in 1961, has introduced the Five Year Integrated M Sc Programme in Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics since 2007-08
Students (AIEEE or Non-AIEEE) who have passed HSC/Class 12th (or Equivalent) examination with Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English, from any recognized Board in India in 2007 or 2008 are eligible to apply for the admission in the prescribed application form to be obtained either by payment or can be downloaded from the Institute website.
Admission will be given on the basis of merit of AIEEE rank first and then on the basis of merit of Rank obtained by Non AIEEE students in Common Admission Test for Science (CATS) to be conducted by the Institute in absence of application from the students with AIEEE ranks, all seats will be filled through CATS ranks on the basis of Merit.
