FINISHING SCHOOL FOR ENGINEERING GRADUATES
Applications are invited from unemployed engineering graduates from a recognized Institute/College of the country for a training programme on Information Technology/ Soft Skills for a period of eight weeks starting from 26th May 2008 to 18 July 2008 at National Institute of Technology (Deemed University), Kurukshetra.
The last date for receiving applications is 20th May, 2008.
Eligibility:
Engineering graduates of recognized institutes/colleges who have completed their B.Tech./B.E. programmes in 2008 or earlier and are unemployed are eligible to attend the programme. The candidates have to declare that they have not obtained a full time job while applying for this special programme.
Selection:
Selection of candidates will be done on the basis of academic performance in the engineering degree. Reservations, as per Government of India norms, shall apply.
Programme Fee:
The Programme fee will be Rs. 12,000/- (Rs. 6000/- for SC/ST candidates). Boarding and Lodging facilities shall be provided at an additional cost of Rs 5000.00 for two months, by NIT Kurukshetra.

The filled in applications along with a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 500 (Rs. 250/ for SC/ST candidates) towards application fee drawn in favour of Director, National Institute of Technology payable at Kurukshetra should reach at the address given below on or before May 20, 2008.
