Admission Notice (For two years hospital based M.Phil. Clinical Psychology Course) Academic Session 2013-2015

Director, IHBAS, on behalf of the institute and the University of Delhi (M. Phil. Committee), invites applications on prescribed proforma available on the website (ihbas.delhigovt.nic.in) for admission to M. Phil. Clinical Psychology course for the session 2013 2015 to be conducted at Institute of Human Behavior & Allied Sciences (IHBAS) in academic affiliation with Faculty of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi.

Number of Seats: UR 10, SC 01, ST 01, OBC 03, Foreign Nationals 02 and Inservice Candidate 02( working under the Institutes: Government /Autonomous/Public Sector undertaking)

Eligibility: Regular M.A./M.Sc. in Psychology/Applied Psychology/ Cognitive Science/ Clinical/ Counseling Psychology from UGC recognized University with minimum 55% marks (50% marks for candidates under reserved categories SC;ST;OBC).

Application Fee: Rs.1500/for General, Inservice & Foreign candidates. For reserved category candidates application fee will be Rs.850/. The application fee is to be paid in the form of DD drawn in favour Registrar, University of Delhi. It should be enclosed with the application. The other documents required to be enclosed with the application are: (a) 01 recent passport size photograph, (b) attested copies of mark sheet, degree certificate of the claimed qualification and (c) work experience. Application received without application fee or any other aforesaid documents will not be entertained.

2. Duration of Courses

The duration of courses shall be six months for the Certificate Courses and one year for the Advanced Diploma Courses for each subject.

3. Eligibility

The eligibility for admission to Certificate/Diploma Courses shall be as under:

Certificate Course: Minimum 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/PWD categories) aggregate marks in 10+2 Examination of the Punjab State Education Board or other equivalent Board in any stream.

Diploma Courses: Minimum Graduation Degree in any stream with not less than 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST/PWD categories) from the recognised University.

All Certificate and Diploma Courses shall have 50 seats each as under:

The Fifty Ninth Annual Convocation of the Institute will be held on Saturday the 27th July 2013. All students graduating in the session 2012 – 2013 are eligible to be awarded the degrees at the Convocation either in person or in absentia.

For Award of Degree in Person:

1. Register in the Exhibition Hall (Ground Floor of Main Building) during 9.30 am and 12.30 p.m. on July 26, 2013 and produce the receipt of the amount paid.

2. Collect the Convocation Scarf from Exhibition Hall.

3. Attend a full-scale rehearsal of the Convocation on July 26, 2013 at 3.30 p.m. in the Netaji Auditorium.

4. Follow the guidelines ( to be circulated to you on July 26, 2013) for the Convocation on 27th July, 2013.

5. Follow the dress code given below for both the rehearsal and the actual Convocation:
