It is a matter of great pride for Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) Campus Landran to be granted an opportunity by the Department of Science and Technology to conduct a science camp (INSPIRE) from 16th Feb. to 20th Feb , 2013. 150 top of the class science students (+1/+2) from across the state of Punjab would be participating in this specialized camp. It is a lifetime opportunity to embrace the joy of learning for students eligible for this program.
Science & Technology is playing a leading role in helping India develop as the growth engine of the world. It is important to motivate the Indian Youth to engage themselves in research activities in this field.
Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research (INSPIRE) is an innovative program developed by the Department of Science & Technology of the Government of India. The basic objective of “INSPIRE” is to attract talent to the study of science at an early stage and help build the required critical human resource pool for strengthening and expanding the Science & Technology system and R&D base. Scheme for Early Attraction of Talent (SEATS) of INSPIRE aims to attract young learners under the age group 10-15 years to explore new vistas in the field of science. It brings together the students with global leaders in science to experience the joy of innovations on an annual basis through INSPIRE internships.
Eligibility: Students having equal to or more than 81.3 %(PSEB) & 9.6 CGPA (CBSE) marks in matriculation are eligible for attending the Camp
