Applications invited for M.Phil Political Science in the Dept. of Political Science, Session 2013
Applications on prescribed forms are invited for admission to M.Phil Programme in the
Department of Political Science for the session 2013. It is a two semester full time course including dissertation. The candidates who have passed M.A in Political Science with minimum of 55% marks are eligible for admission. Out of total seats of M.Phil, 8% are reserved for SC/ST candidates.
Applications complete in all respects and duly supported by requisite documents should reach the office of the undersigned on or before 16TH January 2013 .The admission will be based on academic merit (50%) and entrance test (50%).
The entrance test will be conducted on 30th January 2013 at 11.00 A.M in the Deptt. Of Political Science. The test will consist of
Research Aptitude Component – 25 marks (Descriptive in nature). Out of 5 question two questions are to be attempted 500 words each. Each question carries 12 ½ marks.
Academic Component – 75 marks (1 ½ marks each)
Application forms are available from the office of the Assistant Registrar (Forms and Stationery), University of Jammu, Jammu on cash payment.
