6th Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development Management (PGDRDM): 2013-14
General Instructions:
1. The application form is common for Indian, In-service national and international candidates
2. E-mail addresses should be clear, genuine and active. Please do not give e-mail IDs of friends and relatives. The email account should be regularly checked as the NIRD sends most of its communication through the e-mail
3. Address for correspondence should be clearly and fully written along with permanent address and pin code, failing which your application will be rejected.
4. Students belonging to North-East region residing in the North-East or anywhere in the country should attach a copy of the Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC).
5. Telephone numbers should be clearly written with proper STD/ISD codes.
6. The reservation policy for SC/ST/OBC and PWD candidates, as determined by the Government of India, will be followed. Failure to submit an authentic and attested copy of the caste certificate / PWD certificate, will mean that the candidate will be treated as ‘General Category Candidate’
7. The selection process of candidates including In-service candidates will be based on (a) Written
Test (b) Group Discussion and (c) Personal Interview. However, a separate merit list will be prepared for the selection of In-service candidates.
8. Candidates desirous of seeking education loans from Banks may do so on their own or make an application to NIRD if selected, for facilitation by NIRD
9. Filled in applications should reach The Coordinator Admissions, Centre for Post Graduate Studies (CPGS), National Institute of Rural Development (NIRD), Rajendranagar, Hyderabad before the stipulated date.
10. All the disputes regarding PGDRDM shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Andhra Pradesh High Court only.
11. After the finalization of admissions, no further correspondence shall be entertained.
12. Any recommendation for seeking admission shall lead to disqualification.
13. No change in Test Center will be allowed after allotment. NIRD reserves the right to change the Test Centre from one place to another based on administrative reasons.
14. Incomplete application forms will be summarily rejected.
15. National and International in-service candidates are required to stay in the Campus quarters and manage their own kitchen.
16. Application fee is non-refundable. DD should be drawn in favor of NIRD-PGDRDM, payable at Hyderabad.
