XIII M.Sc Course in Wildlife Science (2011-2013)

The M.Sc Course in Wildlife Science is a flagship course of the Institute and is widely acclaimed both nationally and internationally. The course aims to impart theoretical knowledge, analytical skills and field techniques in wildlife science. Students of high calibre and motivation are selected through a National Entrance Test (NET) and Personality Aptitude Test (PAT) in this residential course.

Applications are invited for admission to this two-year course in M.Sc Wildlife Science (affiliated to the Saurashtra University, Rajkot, Gujarat) commencing June, 2011 at this Institute.

The total intake for the course is 14 students (12 Indian candidates and 2 Foreign nationals)

Eligibility: 1. Bachelor of Science degree with Biological Science as a major subject - Bachelor degree holder in Veterinary, Forestry, Agriculture and Environmental Sciences are also eligible.
2. Minimum of 15 years of formal education (either 10+2+3 or 11+2+2)
3. Minimum of 55% aggregate marks in B.Sc.

Admission Notice 2011 - 2012

The Delhi University Medical-Dental Entrance Test (DUMET)-2011 for admission to Under-Graduate courses (MBBS/BDS) 85% quota will be held on Sunday, 22nd May 2011 at Delhi only. Interested candidates may apply on the prescribed application form.

The application form alongwith Bulletin of Information (BOI) is obtainable from the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 7th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007, against a Bank Draft/ Banker’s Cheque drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of ‘Registrar, University of Delhi’ payable at Delhi, in the following manner:

(i) Sale of Bulletin of Information w.e.f. 24th January, 2011.

(ii) By Hand: for ` 750/- (` Seven Hundred Fifty only) for General and OBC category candidates and ` 550/- (` Five Hundred Fifty only) for SC/ST/PH category candidates between 09:30 A.M. to 03:00 P.M. on all working days from 24th January, 2011 to 07th March, 2011. No cash payment will be accepted.

(iii) By Post: for ` 800/- (` Eight Hundred only) for General and OBC category candidates and ` 600/- (` Six Hundred only) for SC/ST/PH category candidates, along with a self addressed envelop of 12" X 10" upto 11th February 2011.

The application form along with BOI can also be obtained, by hand only, from Lady Hardinge Medical College, Maulana Azad Medical College and University College of Medical Sciences.

Educational Qualification for admission to MBBS/BDS course:
The candidates must have passed 12th class examination under 10+2 system with required subjects, i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English from a recognised school conducting regular classes and situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. The candidates must have passed in the subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English separately and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks (40% marks for candidates belonging to SC/ST category and 45% marks in case of OBC category) taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. The candidates must have studied 11th and 12th classes regularly from a recognised school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi. Female candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Children, Widows & Wives of Armed & Para Military Personnel (CWWAPP category) killed or disabled in action in wars 1947-48 onwards and wards of Ex-servicemen personnel and serving personnel of the Defence/Armed Forces and all Police Forces who are in receipt of Gallantry Awards, who have passed qualifying examination from Indian Boards/Universities or Foreign Boards/Universities may also apply for admission to Lady Hardinge Medical College only and have to come for Counselling. They would be offered admission to LHMC only on the basis of their merit in the DUMET-2011. The condition of studying 11th and 12th class from a school situated within the National Capital Territory of Delhi shall not be applicable to these candidates.

Applications Form may also be downloaded from our websites and submit the same, duly filled in and complete in all respects with requisite Demand Draft, to the office of the Deputy Registrar, Faculty of Medical Sciences, 6th Floor, V. P. Chest Institute Building, University of Delhi, Delhi- 110007 on or before 07th March, 2011 upto 03:00 P.M.

Journal’s Aim and Scope

The SEIJ is intended to be a primary source of research and development on software engineering and all areas of software engineering.
