A Combined Defence Services Examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission on 12th February, 2012 for admission to the undermentioned courses:-

1. Indian Military Academy, Dehradun 134th Course commencing in January, 2013 [including 32 vacancies reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Army Wing) holders] - 250
2. Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala-Course Commencing in January 2013, Executive (Hydro / General Service) (including 06 vacancies reserved for NCC 'C' Certificate holders (Naval Wing). 02 for Hydro/38 for Executive (General Service) - 40
3. Air Force Academy, Hyderabad (Pre-Flying) Training Course commencing in January, 2013 i.e. No.193rd F(P) Course - 32
4. Officers Training Academy, Chennai, 97th SSC Course (for Men) commencing in April,
2013 - 175
5. Officers Training Academy, Chennai 11th SSC Women (Non- Technical) Course commencing in April, 2013 - 30
