1. M.Tech admission 2011 is based on off-line applications received by the concerned department.
2. All Candidates applying for M.Tech admission 2011 shall download the application form from this site and submit to the concerned Department along with Demand Draft.
3. Information about the M.Tech courses offered by different Departments , their eligibility criteria, fees structure , admission procedure etc. are available in the notification
Application fee
General Category Candidates : Rs.850/-
SC/ST Category Candidates : Rs.375/-
Those who have appeared for GATE 2011can also apply. They may submit the copy of Gate Score within ten days of publication of the GATE results.
Last date for receipt of completed Application at the department February 10, 2011

Though there are many colleges and universities offering m.tech programs in India. However, most of the colleges are offering conventional and boring programs which are either not in demand or are becoming outdated. I would advise you to look for programs which are in good demand in the job market and are interesting and unique too. In a recent seminar, I got to know about some programs are like built environment, structural engineering, Robotics, artificial intelligence etc. As these programs are from core sector, they have very good demand in core sector industries. So, acc to me these are the best programs to look for to make a great future. If these programs interests you then I would recommend UPES a university which deals in these programs and is famous for its programs and faculty in pan asia region.
