: Basic Course is open to everyone interested to know about disaster management. Specialized Courses are offered to those who have completed the Basic Course or are having specialized qualifications or work experience on subjects related to the Course themes

Application can be made on plain paper stating name of the course, name of applicant, age, qualifications, experience, occupation, email-id, telephone and postal address along with course fees in bank draft favouring Executive Director, NIDM payable at New Delhi.

Application shall be addressed to the Executive Director, National Institute of Disaster Management, IIPA Campus, IP Estate, Ring Road, New Delhi-110002 so as to reach atleast 15 days in advance from the date of commencing of the course.

Master of Science in Information Technology (M.Sc - IT)


Entry-level requirement is a Bachelor's degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology/AMIE or Master's Degree in Computer Science and Applications (MCA) with minimum score of 60 percentage marks or CGPA of above 6.5 out of 10 points, in the qualifying examination.

M.Phil in Ecological Informatics


MSc with First Class in Natural / Physical Sciences with minimum score of 60 % marks or CGPA of above 6.5 in 10 points, in the qualifying examination.

Post Graduate Diploma in e - Governance (PGDeG)


Bachelor degree in any discipline with computer proficiency. Preference will be given to B.Tech / MBA / MCA degree holders

Essential Qualifications :

1. Graduation in any subject from a recognised University in India or abroad.
2. Participation in at least 6 theatre productions.

How To Apply

Applicants who have been applying for the last 3 years but did not qualify in the preliminary interview need not apply. However, applicants who qualified in the preliminary interview but could not clear the final interview for the last 2 years may apply.

The application form & prospectus will also be available from the Book Shop of the National School of Drama up to 26.04.2010 on cash payment of Rs.150/-, between 10.00 A.M. to 1.00 P.M. & 2.00 P.M. to 5.00 P.M. on working days.

Invites application for Admission for the Academic session 2010-2011

A candidate must have qualified Joint Admission Test (JAM 2010) to M.Sc in Physics / Chemistry only conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology (IITs)) and few seats are also available for meritorious candidates qualifying the M.Sc Admission Entrance Test (2010) for Physics / Chemistry conducted by the University of Delhi

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's Degree with Physics / Chemistry as a subject with 60% aggregate marks for General Category & 55% for all reserved categories

Completed at least one yea course in Mathematics (Statistics not allowed)

Selected candidates may be provided scholarship of Rs. 3000/- pm to be sponsored by Department of Science and Technology (Govt. of India ) or University of Delhi

Selected students may be sent to reputed National and / or International laboratories for dissertation / course work

Final selection from the short - listed candidates will be done on the basis of performance at the interview

Total number of seats for the course is 15 (Reservation of SC/ST/OBC candidates will be done as per the Delhi University norms)
