Ph.D Admission Notice – 2010
1. Admissions to PhD will be restricted to the number of seats available with the Department.
2. Number of candidates qualifying for interview will be two or three times the number of available seats for which candidates will be called from both windows i.e. Direct PhD and PhD through Entrance Test.
3. All Candidates qualifying for interview will be requir ed to submit the synopsis by 31st August, 2010.
4. The synopsis after the blind review by two Professors, if found fit and proper for research would be accepted as proposal for PhD.
5. Thereafter the selection will depend upon the performance in interview and the quality of the synopsis.
6. Finally, such candidates will be registered for the PhD programme as per the University rules regarding course work, study leave and in residence conditions
