Admission Notice 2010-11

Courses and their Eligibility:

1. B. S. Ed. (Hearing Impairment): Students who have passed B. Ed. degree examination of the University of Mysore or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Mysore with minimum of 50% of the aggregate and who have not completed 30 years of age as on the 1st July of the academic year in which admission is sought are eligible for admission. Relaxation of age (up to 10 years) shall be considered for candidates on deputation/ in-service with the approval of the University.

2. P. G. Diploma in Clinical Linguistics for Speech-language Pathology: Candidates with B. Sc. (Sp. & Hg) or equivalent from any recognized university and approved by RCI with 50% marks.

3. P. G. Diploma in Forensic Speech Sciences and Technology: Candidates having B. Sc. with Physics/ Mathematics/Electronics/Computer Science/Forensic Science/Speech and Hearing as major component at B.Sc. Level; B.E./B.Tech./Electronics/ComputerScience/Communication/MBBS from a recognized University /Institute.

4. P. G. Diploma in Neuro-Audiology: Candidates having B. Sc.(Sp. & Hg.) / BASLP / MBBS / Masters in clinical / experimental psychology / cognitive psychology with Neuro - psychology.

5. M. Sc. (Audiology) & M. Sc. (Speech-Language Pathology): B.Sc. (Sp. & Hg)/BASLP or equivalent with 50% marks. Entrance examination will be held on 3.7.2010 at AIISH, Mysore.

6. M. S. Ed. (Hearing Impairment):
Candidates who have passed B .Ed. degree examination and B. Ed. (HI)/B. S. Ed. (HI) or equivalent of the University of Mysore or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the University of Mysore with minimum of 50% of the aggregate and who have not completed 30 years of age as on the 1st July of the academic year in which admission is sought are eligible for admission. Relaxation of age (up to 10 years) shall be considered for candidates on deputation/ in-service with the approval of the University.

7. Ph. D. (Audiology / Speech- Language Pathology): M. Sc. (Audiology / Speech Language Pathology) OR equivalent with 55% marks with one year work/research experience.

8. Post Doctoral Fellowship: Ph. D. from a recognized University in the area of speech, language and hearing.
