Admission Notice for Admission in M.Sc. in Computer Science
Applications are invited from male candidates for the following course to start from July 2010. Forms and details are available at the University office at its main campus at Belur Math and also from the University website. Those awaiting their final results may also apply.
M.Sc. in Computer Science
Eligibility - B.Sc. Hons in Computer Science / B.Sc. Major in Computer in Applications / B.E. or B.Tech. in Computer Science with minimum of 60% marks. Apply before 15 May 2010.
Admission test will be held on 1 June 2010 from 11 am to 2 pm. Classes begin on 1 July 2010 at the Belur Campus.
Entrance Examination and Interview
Entrance examination will be held on 1 June, 11 am – 2 pm followed by a viva-voce test.
The entrance examination will be based on the following topics — discrete maths, algorithms, automata theory, network and database theory, and operating systems.
