Admission to Premier Technical Institutions in India Under DASA Scheme
Ministry of Human Resources & Development, Govt. of India has entrusted the Central coordination of admission under DASA Scheme to NITK Surathkal
Admissions are open for Foreign Nationals / Persons of Indian Origin (PIOs) / NonResident Indians (NRIs) under Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) Scheme for the Academic Year 201011 to various National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and other premier Institutes (for details refer to www.nitk.ac.in). Attention of all interested students is drawn to the revised procedure of drawing the Merit list for allotment of branches and Institutes based on Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT II) subject scores only (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Level 2). Hence students are advised to register for SAT examination likely to be conducted on May 01 and June 05, 2010 whose registration dates are March 31 and May 05, 2010 respectively. Detailed admission procedure, online application and brochure for the current revised scheme will be made available on NITK website (www.nitk.ac.in) from 01.04.2010 onwards.
