Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS) Course January 2010 – December 2011
Duly filled in application in the prescribed form available at the University Sales Counter on payment of Rs. 300/- for admission to the MLIS Course (2-year Day) will be received by the Department of Library & Information Science, Asutosh Building (3rd Floor), College Street, Kolkata – 700 073, till 4th January, 2010 (11 A.M. to 4 P.M.). Candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications. Admission will be made in order of merit with reservations as per prescribed norms.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A BLIS degree of this University in 2009. 5 % seats are reserved for candidates of 2008 batch. Candidates possessing 1st Class BLIS or equivalent degree in current and immediately preceding year of other recognized Universities or Institutions may also apply.

Date of publication of merit list: 08. 01. 2010
Application forms will not be sent by post. No personal communication with the candidate regarding admission will be made on behalf of the university.
