The All-India English Language Testing Authority (AIELTA) of the English and Foreign Languages University (EFL-U) (formerly CIEFL), Hyderabad, the only national University fully dedicated to English studies in the Country, announces its first national level English Proficiency Test. The test has been developed by language specialists at EFL-U to assess your ability to use English in real-life, academic or workplace situations.
It is not based on any prescribed syllabus or course. EFL-U will award a certificate of proficiency to all successful candidates above the age of 16.
Test Date : Sunday, 28 February 2010
Test Fee : (1) General Category: Rs.1500 (2) SC/ST: Rs.750; (3) Foreign Nationals Rs.2000
Test Centres : In most state capitals (subject to a minimum number of candidates)
How to apply : Send your name and complete postal address with a demand draft for Rs.100/- (SC/ST: Rs.50/-) in favour of The Registrar, EFL-U, Hyderabad for receiving a handbook and an application form.
