Applications are invited for admission to the following courses of this University for July 2009 session.
1. Bachelor Degree Programme (BDP) in
(a) Science (B. Sc. Honours in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology & Geography)
(b) Arts (B. A. Honours in Bengali, English, History, Economics, Political Science, Public Administration & Sociology)
(c) Commerce (B. Com. Honours)
Eligibility: Passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination. Those who have passed B.P.P. from NSOU or any other recognized university are also eligible to apply only for (b) & (c). For other details please refer to the B.D.P. prospectus.
Duration: Minimum 3 years, Maximum 6 years
Course Fee: Rs. 1500/- per annum for B.A. & B. Com. and Rs. 2200/-* per annum for B. Sc.

2. B.com for Chartered Accountancy Students & qualified Chartered Accountants
Eligibility:
i)Passed 10+2 or an equivalent
ii) Passed Common Proficiency Test of ICAI,
iii) Registration in Professional Competency Course of ICAI or already passed Professional Competency Course of ICAI or qualified Chartered Accountants
Duration: 3 Years

*Candidates opting for lab-based subsidiary papers in Science should pay Rs.2500/- as course fee in place of Rs.2200/-. For further details regarding admission procedure, course structure, subsidiary papers, eligibility criteria, examination pattern, evaluation method, etc. Candidates must refer to the prospectus to be had from the Study Centres of the University.
Besides Course fees an amount of Rs. 330/- (Rs.100/- for Registration, Rs.100/- for Identity Card and Rs.130/- as annual development fee) is to be paid at the time of admission in each course. Annual Development fee of Rs.130/- is to be paid in subsequent year(s) if the course is of more than 1-year duration i.e., at the time of renewal in the 2nd year and 3rd year. Students who are already enrolled in various courses of the University must pay an amount of Rs. 130/- as Annual Development fee at the time of renewal. Admission may be taken for the above-mentioned courses during office hours of respective Study Centres. List of Study Centres and all the information regarding the University will be available in website – www.wbnsou.com
Last date of submission of filled in application from together with requisite fee at Study Centre is 02/08/2009 without late fee and 09/08/2009 with late fee of Rs.50/-
