Applications are invited to the following Post Graduate Programmes for the Academic Session 2009 – 10

Eligibility
For GATE Qualified/Sponsored/General Category candidates:
The candidate should have 4 year B.E/B. Tech in concerned discipline with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6.75 or 60% marks in aggregate.
For SC/ST/OBC category candidates:
The candidate should have B.E/B. Tech in concerned discipline with Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 6.25 or 55% in aggregate.
Sponsored Candidates(Full Time/Part Time):
Sponsored Full Time/Part Time candidates must produce the following additional documents at the time of Admission.
a) No Objection Certificate/Sponsorship Certificate from the employer. (for both Full Time & Part Time candidates)
b) Proof of 02 years regular services and working experience. (for both Full Time & Part Time candidates)
c) Sponsored candidates (Full Time/Part Time) can be considered under Sponsored Category, and they must route their Application for Admission through their Employer with submission of an Advance Copy alongwith the requisite documents (as stated below).
In case Sponsored Full Time/Part Time candidate fails to produce the requisite documents at the time of admission, their admission shall be cancelled without issuing any further notice.
General Conditions:
a) The candidate appearing B.E/B.Tech Examinations can also apply. However, they have to produce their Grade Cards showing the above prescribed CGPA/percentage latest by 22nd July, 2009, failing which their admission shall be cancelled without issuing any notice. Such candidates must produce a certificate duly signed by Head of the Institution, last attended that all examinations including practical necessary for award of the B.Tech/B.E Degree have been completed in order to eligible for applying the M. Tech Course.
Duration of the Course
Full Time: 02 years
Part Time: 03 years
Application forms can be obtained from the office of the Assistant Registrar (Acad), National Institute of Technology, Hazratbal, Srinagar, Kashmir (India) on payment of Rs: 300/= (Rs. 200/= for SC/ST candidates) through Bank Draft drawn in favour of Director, National Institute of Technology, Srinagar.
Application forms can also be downloaded from our Website www. nitsri.net and sent to Assistant Registrar (Academic) National Institute of Technology, Hazratbal, Srinagar, Kashmir (India). 190006 alongwith the necessary Demand Draft for Rs: 300/= (in case of SC/ST candidates Rs: 200/=) drawn in favour of Director, National Institute of Technology, Hazratbal, Srinagar, Kashmir, 190006 (India). Application forms complete in all respects should be submitted to Assistant Registrar (Acad), National Institute of Technology, Hazratbal, Srinagar, Kashmir, (J&K) on or before 30/06/2009.
Applications will be screened by concerned Departments and list of eligible candidates will be put on website www.nitsri.net. All announcements related to admissions will be made through our website. All candidates are advised to keep in touch with the website till the process of Enrollement is complete.
Appearance in Entrance Test is essential for all the candidates that includes Sponsored & GATE qualified candidates as well.
