Admission Notice For The Session 2009-10


Applications on prescribed forms are invited for admission to the following Courses:

(1) One year Diploma Course in Sports Coaching (at Patiala, Bangalore and Kolkatta)

(A) Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports, Old Moti Bagh, Patiala: On 16 sports discipline (Athletics, Basketball, Boxing, Cricket, Cycling, Fencing, Football, Gymnastics, Handball, Judo, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Weightlifting, Wrestling & Wushu

(B) SAI Netaji Subhas Southern Centre Bangalore


In 10 sports discipline (Athletics, Badminton, Hockey, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Softball, Swimming, Taekwondo, Lawn Tennis and Volleyball)

(C) SAI NS Eastern Center Kolkatta In 4 sports discipline (Archery, Athletics, Boxing and Football)

(2) M.Sc (Sports Coaching) (Two Year Degree Course at Patiala)

(Athletics, Basketball, Football, Gymnastics, Hockey, Swimming, Volleyball, weightlifting and Wrestling)

(3) PG Diploma Course in Sports Medicine ( Two Year at Patiala)


Prospectus containing detailed information can be obtained by paying for Rs. 500 at counter or through Regd. Post by sending Bank Draft of rs. 550/- drawn in favour of Executive Director, Sports Authority of India, NSNIS Patiala - 147001 or Director Incharge, Sports Authority of India NS South Centre, University Campus, Bangalore - 560056 or Director Incharge, Sports authority of India, NS Eastern Centre Lake city Sector - III, Kolkata - 700091

Application form can be downloaded from website (www.nsnis.org) if a candidate applies on downloaded application form , he/she must enclose a Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- to the concerned centre

The last date of Receipt of application at the Centre concerned is 15.05.2009


Admission tests for Diploma Courses will be held at respective Centres in the last week of June, 2009


Note: Sports Authority of India reserves the right to cancel a course or change the venue of course in view of inadequate responses or due to other administrative reasons.
