MOU between the P.G.I.M.E.R., Chandigarh and Panjab University
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the P.G.I.M.E.R., Chandigarh and Panjab University, Chandigarh, is signed at PU Campus here on 17th September 2008 for enrollment / registration of candidates for pursuing Ph.D. research in various Departments of Basic Medical Sciences, Panjab University, Chandigarh, for which Chief Supervisor will be appointed from the parent University Teaching Department and Co-Supervisor/Supervisor can be appointed from the P.G.I.M.E.R., Chandigarh, and also vice versa, i.e. if a candidate enrolled/registered for Ph.D. in a Department at P.G.I.M.E.R., the Chief Supervisor/Guide would be from P.G.I.M.E.R., and Co-Supervisor/Co-Guide from the collaborating Department of the Panjab University; and
Besides this regular MOU, the Rules and Regulations of the concerned Institute would be applicable on the candidate wherever he/she is enrolled/registered. The MOU signed by Dr. K.K. Talwar, Director, PGIMER on behalf of PGIMER and Prof. R.C. Sobti, Vice-Chancellor, P.U. on behalf of the Panjab University.
