Post Graduate Programme in Forestry Management (PGDFM)
Fellow Programme in Management (FPM)

IIFM is a sectoral management school imparting excellent general management skills as well as managerial competence in the areas of forests, environment and development management. It has a sprawling green campus spread over 200 acres with state-of-the-art infrastructure and twenty-four hours internet connectivity in the hostels. It has a record of 100% campus placement. For the batch of 2006-08, the average salary was Rs. 7.2 lakhs and the highest annual package was of US $ 55,000 (overseas). IIFM announces admission to the following programmes:

1) Post Graduate Diploma in Forestry Management (PGDFM) is a Two-Year full time residential Programme approved by the Al India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Admission to PGDFM programme is through CAT examination conducted by IIMs. IIFM will use the CAT score for short-listing of the candidates. IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme. The candidates should follow the CAT advertisement of IIMs for procurement of CAT 2008 Bulletin, closing date of which is 8th August 2008. The students have to apply separately for IIFM and the detailed advertisement shall appear in newspapers and on IIFM website subsequently in the coming months.

2) Fellow Program in Management (FPM) is a four year AICTE approved doctoral program open to postgraduates. It is designed to develop and equip students for career opportunities in Management education and research. One of the tracks for admission to the FPM programme is through CAT. CAT scores of CAT 2007 and 2008 will be valid for admission to the FPM programme 2009-2013. Candidates interested in admission to the FPM programme through CAT track should appear for CAT 2008 in the event that the applicant does not have CAT 2007 score. Information about other tracks for admission to FPM programme is available on IIFM website.
