Admission Notice for Admission to CCNA Training Programme - 2008
Jamia Hamdard, a premier institution for higher education, has made a name for itself in providing high quality education at its campus. Established in 1989 by Hakeem Abdul Hameed through a wakf, Jamia Hamdard in a short span of time has grown into a fine teaching and research institution, offering a variety of programmes.
Jamia Hamdard is ANNOUNCING full time industry oriented CCNA training programme under CISCO Academy to external candidates. Jamia Hamdard is now one of the Authorized LOCAL CISCO Academy for CCNA and has been imparting specialized CCNA training to it’s own MCA, M.Sc (IT) and BCA students.
The CISCO Networking Academy program empowers people through e-learning environments that enable them to learn anytime, anywhere at their own place and with more targeted assessments and accountability than traditional classroom settings. With a curriculum developed by education and networking experts, the program prepares graduates for the demands and opportunities of the new global economy.
Course Highlights:
(1) Comprehensive curriculum designed by CISCO.
(2) Authenticate study materials and Lab manuals (with access right from CISCO site)
(3) Technical support backed by eSimulator with structured e-Lab.
(4) 70% Discount Voucher (appx. Rs. 5000/-) by CISCO for Certification Exam.
(5) Online testing and performance-based skills assessment through a web Interface.
(6) Additional Participation Certificate from CEO, CISCO.

Duration and Fee of course:
This CCNA training consists of 280 hours spread over four semesters. In each semester, the training consist of theory as well as practical classes. At the end of each semester, the trainee will have to appears in an online test for passing the semester. The passing marks for each semester are 80%. Students well be enrolled for next semester on successful completion of the previous semester. After the second semester, they can appear for voucher examination. On passing the voucher exam successfully, they get a concession in the fee charged for the CCNA exam conducted by CISCO directly.
The fee for external candidate will be Rs. 15,000/- for entire course.
Eligibility :
The minimum qualification for admission to CCNA Training Programme is10+2.
The application forms will be available at Computer Centre, Jamia Hamdard, Hamdard Nagar, New Delhi – 110062 of Rs 200, with effect 01 August, 2008. However, candidates can also download the application form from the University Website and submit the same as per the instructions given on the Website.
Application form can also be obtained by post from the office of the Course Coordinator, CCNA Programme, Computer Centre, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi-110062 by sending a demand draft of Rs 275 in favour of “Jamia Hamdard”, payable at Delhi. Filled in application form can be submitted at Computer Centre, Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi – 110062 or sent by post.
Last date for submission of completed application form is 14th August, 2008.
The new batch will be started from 20th August, 2008.
