Over 1250 teachers have undertaken special training through orientation workshops at CPDHE.

The Foundation Courses are an integral and innovative part of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme at the University of Delhi. They are designed to strengthen the knowledge base of the students in relation to the major challenges facing India. The curriculum encourages the learning and practical use of academic tools and sensitizes students to some of these problems. The study materials provided in these books are designed to serve as a platform for participative and interactive group projects and class presentations, through which it is expected that students will acquire pragmatic competence in the areas being addressed.
