How to Apply

Candidates can apply in any one of the following methods:

i) Applications can be downloaded from the website www.gitam.edu

ii) Application can also be obtained from the office of the Principal, GIP on payment of Rs.100/- in person, or can be obtained by post by sending a request along with a DD for Rs.100/- drawn in favor of GITAM Institute of Pharmacy, payable at Visakhapatnam.

iii) The filled-in application along with the Demand Draft for Rs. 600/- drawn in favor of GITAM Institute of Pharmacy, payable at Visakhapatnam on any scheduled bank, along with the copies of the certificates of qualifying examinations and other relevant certificates should be sent to the Principal, GITAM Institute of Pharmacy, GITAM UNIVERSITY, Gandhi Nagar Campus, Rushikonda, Visakhapatnam- 530 045, Andhra Pradesh, INDIA on or before the last date for submission of application.

B.Tech Lateral Entry - 2012

Applications are invited for admissions to B.Tech Lateral Entry Programme.

Admission will be based on a rank list prepared based on an objective type entrance test conducted by the Joint Controller of Technical Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram as per clause 9 of the prospectus.

Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering awarded by the State Board of Technical Education or Equivalent after undergoing regular course of three years study in an approved institution are eligible for admission.

Those who are appearing for the final year diploma examination are also eligible to apply subject to the condition that they shall produce the provisional certificate at the time of admission.

Maximum age as on the last date of submission of application will be 28 years.

Non-Keralities are also eligible to apply but their admission will be restricted to the Private Self financing institutions & non-Government seats in the Government controlled Self-financing institutions.

Application forms and prospectus are available in the websites - “www.dtekerala.gov.in”, “www.tekerala.org” Application fee is Rs.750/- for general candidates and Rs.375/- - for SC/ST candidates, which can be paid in ‘Shakti Account’ of the Joint Controller of Technical Examination from any branch of State Bank of Travancore. ST candidates whose annual income is below Rs.40, 000/- are exempted from paying application fee on condition that they produce income certificate for the same.

For recent MBBS Graduates working in secondary hospitals towards expertise in secondary level care

Eligibility:

All graduates completing MBBS including internship during or after 2010.

Selection Preference will be given to the following in order of preference:

1. Those completing both MBBS and internship at CMC and have a service obligation to their sponsoring bodies.

2. Those completing both MBBS and internship at CMC but do not have a service obligation.

3. Those who completed MBBS elsewhere but completing internship at CMC.

4. Those completing MBBS in other medical colleges.

The application form can be downloaded from the CMC website or can be collected in person from the Curriculum Office, ASHA Building or the Department of Distance Education, 4th Floor, IDTRC office above State Bank of India Building. The selection process will greatly depend on the written application. Hence the candidates are advised to fill in the application carefully.
