Admission Notice 2012
Applications on the prescribed forms are invited from the eligible candidates for admission to three year Diploma courses in the below mentioned Engineering branches in Government Polytechnic Pulwama, IUST Campus Awantipora for the Academic Session 2012-2013 for the following disciplines:
Civil Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Electrical Engineering
The Application Forms can be obtained from the office of the Registrar Islamic University of Science & Technology Awantipora against cash payment of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred only). The detailed information will remain available on the IUST website www.islamicuniversity.edu.in
Eligibility:
a) Candidates must be permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir State.
b) Having passed 10th class or equivalent examination (with Science and Maths subjects) from a recognized Statutory Board / University with 40% marks in case of open category candidates and 37% marks in case of reserved category candidates.
c) Candidates seeking admission in Govt. Polytechnic Pulwama, IUST Campus Awantipora under reserved category must enclose a relevant reserved category certificate issued by the designated authority alongwith his/her application form, without which the application will be considered in Open Merit category.
Filled in Application Forms, complete in all respects should be submitted in the office of Registrar Islamic University of Science & Technology by or before 7th August 2012 (Tuesday).
