C. S. M. Medical University U.P., Lucknow shall be conducting the Competitive Entrance Examination for selection of Candidates for admission to Diploma in Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing Course (DPN) in Department of Psychiatry, C. S. M. Medical University U.P., Lucknow for the year 2012.
Eligibility criteria The student seeking admission to this course should be a registered nurse (R.N. & R.M/GNM) or equivalent. Nurses from other countries must obtain an equivalence certificate from INC before admission and be physically fit.
Numbers of seats available – 20 (General- 10, OBC- 06, SC/ST- 04) as per university guidelines
Duration of the course is 1 year.
Students will be given a stipend of Rs.1000/- for a maximum period of 12 months.

The written examination for selection of candidates will be done on 8th May, 2012 between 12:00 noon to 1:30 PM.
Interview for candidates qualifying written exams will be done on 15th May, 2012 from 10:00 AM
