UGC NET – June 2012 - In Objective Mode
UGC NET (Humanities) from June 2012 will be exclusively conducted as objective mode with no negative marking. Candidates will be permitted to take the carbon printout of OMR response sheet. Paper I, II and III will have 50, 50 & 75 compulsory questions of 2 marks each. Minimum marks/ percentage needed to pass for each paper will be 40-40%, 40-40%, 75-50% (General), 35-35%, 35-35% , 67.5-45% (OBC Non Creamy Layer) and 35-35%, 35-35%, 60-40% (PH/VH/SC/ ST). There is no change in scheme and syllabus nor the timings (9:30 to 10:45, 10:45 to 12 noon and 01:30 to 04:00 p.m.)
