Eligibility:

A student is eligible if in Class XII Boards he/she has obtained:

1. 80% or more in Maths
2. AND 80% or more in aggregate of all five subjects in Class XII Board results. If a Board has more than 5 subjects, then the best five may be used for aggregate.

Relaxation of marks for reserved categories:

For SC/ST: 10%
For CW: 5%
For PH: 5%

How to Apply ?

Submitting application form as well as payment of application fee is open from 27th May to 10th June 2011. Outside Delhi candidates can only submit their form after AIEEE results have been declared (tentatively on or before 7th June, 2011).

Application form closes : 10th June, 2011(Friday)
Date of written exam : 19th June, 2011(Sunday)
Entrance exam result & merit list (available online on this website) : 28th June, 2011(Tuesday)
1st counseling : 8th July, 2011(Friday)
2nd counseling (if seats available) : 9th July, 2011(Saturday)
Session starts : August 1st, 2011 (Monday). Specific dates for joining and orientation will be announced later.

Admission in Integrated MBA 2011

BIT offers a 5 year (10 Semester) Integrated MBA Programme for all eligible Class XII pass-outs aspiring for a career in the field of business management. This programme will be offered at BIT Lalpur (Ranchi City), Kolkata, Noida, Jaipur & Allahabad Centres from the session 2011-12.

On the successful completion of the 5-year Programme, the students will be awarded the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree. The students who want to acquire only an undergraduate qualification, will have an option of getting a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Degree on successful completion of 3-years of this programme. This option will have to be exercised at the end of the second year of study.

Admission to B.E. and B. Arch programmes 2011 at BIT Mesra will be done through Central Counselling of CCB 2011. For details, please see CCB website www.ccb.nic.in

Admission to B.E. programme at BIT Patna, BIT Deoghar and BIT Jaipur Extension Centres will be through Institutional Counselling (done by BIT itself) strictly on the basis of overall All India Rank in AIEEE 2011.
