The Department of Statistics is organizing a workshop on “Applied Statistics using SPSS” for duration of 7 days from 14 November (Monday) to 20th November (Sunday) 2011 (from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. everyday) in Computer Laboratory (Ground Floor), Department of Statistics, Panjab University, Chandigarh.
This course shall be made available to faculty members/Research Scholars of Panjab University, PGIMER/GMCH doctors (having basic background in Statistics) and for the faculty members of the neighbouring institutes actively involved in research.
Application Form along with Registration Fee of Rs. 1000/- be deposited in the Department of Statistics, Panjab University, Chandigarh. Those who are not selected will get back their money. The last date for submission of application form as per attached proforma is 9th November, 2011 (Wednesday) by 5.00 p.m. in the Department of Statistics, Panjab University, Chandigarh. The participants may use Xeroxed copies of proforma if more copies are required. The form can also be downloaded from the website of the Panjab University.
