Summer Internship Programmes 2011
The NITK - Summer Internship Programme (NITK-SIP) is designed to enhance awareness and interest in high quality academic research among young Engineering, Management, Sciences and Humanities students through a goal oriented short term summer project undertaken at the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal. The Awardees would be working on research projects under the mentorship of NITK faculty during the summer vacation (01 June 2011 – 15 July 2011).
Eligibility: Candidates pursuing third year of B.Tech. programme, first year of M.Tech, M.Sc. or MBA with outstanding academic background in terms of academic performance in university examinations, papers presented at seminars, projects executed, design contests participated, and any other awards/distinctions obtained, are encouraged to apply. Preference will be given to students from Institutions with which NITK has an MoU for academic and research cooperation.
