Indo-Swiss Training Centre (ISTC) of Central Scientific Instruments Organisation (CSIO) was established in the year 1963 in collaboration with the Swiss Foundation for Technical Assistance, Switzerland. It was formally inaugurated on 18th December 1963 by the first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru.
The Training Centre conducts three AICTE approved courses viz.
(1) 3 -Year Diploma in Instrument Technology
(2) 4- Year Advanced Diploma in Die & Mould Making
(3) 4- Year Advanced Diploma in Mechatronics & Industrial Automation
How To Apply: Application form along with detailed relevant information is available on our website www.csio.res.in w.e.f. 15-05-2011. The application form is required to be filled on-line. The charges for cost of Application form including examination fee are Rs.1000/- (Rs 500/- For SC/ST Candidates) in the form of crossed Demand Draft issued on or after 15.05.2011 in favour of Director CSIO, payable preferabaly at State Bank of India, Sector 30, Chandigarh (Code 1443).
Demand draft of requisite fee must be ready with the applicant before filling up the application form on-line as the number of DD has to be mentioned there. Last date for online submission is 21-06-2011 up to 5.00 PM.
The valid email id of the applicant/parents /guardian is mandatory for applying and future communication.
Opening Date for On-Line submission of ISTC Entrance Form: 15.05.2011
Closing Date for On-Line submission of ISTC Entrance Form: 21.06.2011
Last date for Receipt of “ Print out of the System Generated Application Form for ISTC Entrance Exam” along with Demand draft at ISTC, CSIO, Chandigarh: 30.06.2011
