Registrations are open from May 2011

1. Certificate Course in TIE (Theatre-In-Education) - Facilitator Training (June 2011)
2. Certificate Course in Playback Theatre (July 2011)
3. Certificate Course in Proscenium Theatre (November 2011)

Certificate Course in TIE (Theatre In Education) - Facilitator Training (45 hours)*


1. 5 hours on theatre methods
2. 5 hours on educational models
3. 5 hours on integration of theatre in education
4. 30 hours of practical implementation at chosen work spaces with option of joining as facilitators with Script Peoples Theatre
5. 3 full days of structured intervention with open option of conducting practical’s at a chosen location within a period of 1 month
6. Workshop Dates - 3 days in June (Workshop dates will be intimated during enrollment)
7. Cost - Rs. 6,000/- per participant (Inclusive of lunch, tea and snacks. Accommodation provided for outstation participants on workshop dates)

Certificate Course in Playback Theatre (60 hours)*


1. Actors workshop focused on developing improvisational acting skills. - Learning through theatre games and exercises.
2. Participants will put up a performance with option of being part of monthly shows.
3. International theatre form headquartered in New York and with a membership base in more than 50 countries.
4. Improvisational form of theatre where actors perform audience real-life experiences on the spot, without prior discussion.
5. A leadership training program that uses music, art, psychology, movement along with theatre to draw the individual out.
6. Workshop from - July to September 2011. Conducted on Monday, Wednesday, Friday (6:20 am. - 8:30 am)
7. Fees: Rs. 6,000/- per participant

Certificate Course in Proscenium Theatre (60 hours)*


1. Workshop focuses on direction, acting, lights, sound, backstage, scripting, stage management, stage make up and costume design.
2. Participants will be involved in putting up a theatre piece comprising solo performances and a group performance.
3. Exposure to experience state of the art auditorium at Christ University
4. Workshop learning of direction, acting, lights, sound, backstage, scripting, stage management, stage make up and costume design through a play creation process.
5. Opportunity to be part of initiatives with Script Peoples Theatre projects across locations.
6. Workshop from - November to February 2012. Conducted on Monday, Wednesday, Friday (6:20 am.- 8:30 am)
7. Fees: Rs. 10,000/- per participant
