Eligibility for MBA: A recognized Bachelor's degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks in he aggregate or a pass in the final examination, conducted by ICAI/ICWAI/ICSI or AMIE with 50% marks (See UBS, Ludhiana Handbook of Information 2011) Candidates appearing in the final year examination of bachelor's degree are eligible to apply provisionally. Admission Procedure: Take common Admission test CAT 2010 to be conducted by IIMS. No separate Entrance Test will be conducted by UBS Ludhiana or Panjab University for the said programme

Forms can also be obtained by post up to November 12, 2010 from Manager, Publication, Bureau, Panjab University Chandigarh by enclosing a crossed Bank Draft for Rs. 2080/- (Rs. 1080/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of Registrar, Panjab University Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh and a self addressed envelope (30 * 25 cm)

Application form can also be download from website http://ubsl.puchd.ac.in and submitted along with a Bank Draft for Rs. 2000/- (Rs. 1000/- for SC/ST candidates) in favour of Registrar Panjab University, Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh.

Request Forms: Form can be obtained from Academic Office, NID, Ahmwdabad directly by sending a Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalised Bank in favour of 'National Institute of Design' payable at Ahmedabad for Rs. 1500/- (Rs. 750/- for reserved categories - SC/ST/PH/OBC - who should also sent in copy of the relevant document from competent authority) and a self addressed envelop of "9 * 12" size with Rs. 40/- stamps affixed. Mark your envelop NID 'ADMISSIONS 2011'.

Forms can also be obtained from select branches of Bank of India (available on institute website or you can check the below image) on payment of Rs 1500/- towards the cost of the form plus Rs 50/- as bank charges. (Forms at concessional rates to reserved categories are available only from NID, Ahmedabad.)

Applications, complete in all respects, should reach the Admissions Office of IMI on or before November 30, 2010. Incomplete forms are liable to be rejected summarily.

Admission Test

Admission to the program is through the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by The Indian Institute of Management at different Centers all over the country. The CAT examination will be held between October 27 and November 23, 2010 with a break for Diwali. (Refer CAT Bulletin for further details). IMI will receive the test scores from the IIM for those candidates who have appeared in the CAT examination and have also applied to IMI for the twoyear PGDM program. IIM's have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the program.

Foreign students and NRI sponsored candidates are also eligible and are required to take the Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) at a test centre outside India, taken not earlier than November 2008, and submit such scores while applying to IMI.
