B.Tech Admissions on AIEEE Basis CET Discontinued
Government of Punjab has decided that admissions to B.Tech for the year 2011 - 12 would be made on the basis of state merit of the students in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) held by CBSE. As a result common entrance test (CET) has been discontinued
CBSE conducted AIEEE examination will be held on April 24, 2011. The online version of the examination will be held from May 1st to May 15th for a maximum of one lakh candidates on "first come first basis" Sale of information bulletin will start from December 15, 2011.
Students advised to apply for AIEEE 2011 test.
It is very good decision by Punjab Government. Now students have to give only single entrance exam.
