Admission notice for B.Sc Nursing & B. Pharm (Ayurveda) Entrance Test - 2011
Eligibility: The Banaras Hindu University will hold All India COMPETITIVE WRITTEN TEST for admission to B.Sc. Nursing (60 seats) and B.Pharm.(Ayurveda) (30 seats) shall be held on Sunday, the 22nd May 2011 at Varanasi
Qualifications: Passed Intermediate / 10+2 or equivalent examination in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Zoology + Botany) taken together – a minimum of 50% marks for General and 45% for General-PC candidates and 40% marks for OBC*/SC/ST and respective PC candidates

Application Form and Information Booklets can be obtained:
(a) By download from the websites www.bhu.ac.in or www.imsbhu.nic.in from 10.01.2011 to 07.03.2011
(b) By hand from the Office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU, Varanasi by paying Rs. 50/- in Cash – from 10.01.2011 to 07.03.2011.
(c) By Post: From the Office of the Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi-221 005 by sending a written request through Registered Post along with Crossed Demand Draft/Bankers Cheque (MICR only) of Rs. 100/- of a Nationalized Bank, drawn in favour of “The Director, Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU” payable at Varanasi. Application form will be sent by Speed / Registered Post. However, Institute will not be responsible for any loss or postal delay. The request for application form must include the name and address of the candidate, and full particulars of the enclosed DD/BC (write candidate’s name and address on the back of DD). Two self-addressed, preferably typed, white paper slips of 10 cm ´ 6 cm size must also accompany it. The requisition for Application Form should be superscribed “Request for Application Form for B.Sc. Nursing & B.Pharm.(Ay.) Entrance Test – 2011, BHU”. Last date of requisition for form by post is 21.02.2011. Incomplete/non-cashable Draft (under amount/unsigned/ without Bank Code No. & Seal) shall not be accepted. NOTE: M.O./I.P.O./Cheques shall NOT be accepted under any circumstances.
Application form duly completed must be sent through Registered Post so as to reach THE DIRECTOR, INSTITUTE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, BANARAS HINDU UNIVERSITY, VARANASI-221 005 latest by 09.03.2011. Application forms received after the last date shall not be accepted.
