Ph.D Programme in Applied Psychology 2010
Applications are invited for admission to the Department of Applied Psychology, University of Calcutta ( Rajabazar Science College, 92, Acharya Prafulla Chandra Road, Kolkata-700009) for Ph.D. course and subsequent research work for obtaining the Ph.D. degree in Applied Psychology. Candidates who wish to pursue research work in the Department should apply in the prescribed application form(obtainable from the Department of Applied Psychology) by paying Rs. 100.00 through a challan (obtainable from Cash Counter in Raja bazaar Science College Campus and College Street Campus). Duly filled application form must reach the office of the Head of the Department between 15/09/2010 and 06/10/2010.
The eligible candidates will have to appear in a written examination of 2.5 hours, to be held in the Department on 10th November, 2010. The syllabus of this examination is the UGC NET (Paper II and III A) on Psychology and existing syllabus of M.A./M.Sc. in Applied Psychology, University of Calcutta.
The results of the written test will be published on 30th November, 2010. The successful candidates will be called for an interview on 8th December, 2010. The candidates will be finally selected as Probationary Ph.D. student of this department on the basis of the evaluation in the interview.
