Admission Notice 2010 - Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication
Applications are invited from graduates (in any stream), within 35 years, for admission to the one-year PG Diploma Course in Mass Communication. There are 70 seats and admission is through Admission test, Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The date of admission test is 18th August 2010 at 12 noon at the Department. The list of successful candidates for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be published on 25th August 2010. The Group Discussion and Personal Interview will be held on 30th & 31st August 2010. The final list will be published on 8th September 2010. The admission will continue from September 09, 2010. Classes will begin from 22nd September 2010.The Course Fees is Rs.12,000/-.Reservation of seats for SC/ST/PH will be as per rules.
Forms will be available from the Calcutta University Sales Counter on payment of Rs. 200/-from July 26 to August 17, 2010. The Application form and the other information can be downloaded from the official website of Calcutta University www.caluniv.ac.in Downloaded application forms completed in all respects along with the proof of payment of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred only) by C.U. Challan will be received in the office of the Journalism and Mass Communication Department. For further information call 2219-4081/4120.
