New Course on Aerospace Engineering from 2010-11
The University is going to start a new UG Course on Aerospace Engineering from the Academic Session 2010-11 with intake capacity of 15 students. The admission will be made through WBJEE.
All other terms and conditions for getting admission to the University and others like availing hostel facilities etc. will remain same as followed for other disciplines.
Name of the Course: Bachelor (B. E.) Degree in Aerospace Engineering
Number of Seats: Fifteen (15)
Eligibility: An applicant
• Should be citizen of India
• (a) Must have appeared or passed Higher Secondary (10+2)Examination with at least five subjects of which not more than two will be vernacular with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics in general or
(b) In the vocational stream of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal with English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Vernacular or any other subject (Full Marks not less than 100) or
(c) In equivalent examination of a recognized Board or University
• Provided he/she has passed the above mentioned examination with the subjects mentioned above with a minimum of 50% marks for general candidates and 40% of marks for SC/ST candidates in the subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics taken together and with 30% marks in English for all category of candidates.
• The selection of the candidates who have appeared at the above mentioned examination this year 2010 will, however, be subject to their passing the above examination like mentioned above before admission.
